The dark web is a part of the internet that isn't indexed by search engines. Many a times people get confused between Dark Web and Deep Web. Deep Web refers to non-indexed web pages, whereas Dark Web refers to the web pages which are non-indexed and are involved in illegal/suspicious activities. It is said that only 10% of the internet is visible and accessible to us through browsers such as Google Chrome, Edge, Mozilla Firefox etc. The rest of the internet falls under Deep web and the Dark web falls under Deep web, which can be accessed through browsers like “Tor”.
So the question that arises is that What is so “dark” about the Dark web???
A small group of people uses Dark web just to express themselves (as in some countries freedom of speech and expression is not a thing!) and some use it to join “Chess Club” or “BlackBook”(Facebook of Tor). These activities are legal to some extent, but the main issue to address is that nowadays, Dark web has become a platform to do all kinds of criminal and illegal activities. People all around the world buy and sell credit card numbers, counterfeit money, drugs, guns, hacked Netflix accounts and what not on the dark web. You can even hire a hitman on the dark web.
So, should you visit the Dark web even just for a one-time experience?
HELL NOO!!!
Many people who visited the Dark web “just for fun” are now struggling from mental disturbances. This is because of the type of content which is available to watch on the Dark web. There are videos of people getting killed gruesomely, videos of Cannibals cooking human beings and a lot more. Other than the content, it is not safe for your computer and data as there are high chances of attacks in form of malwares, Trojan Horses, Phishing etc. Let’s assume that you are able to survive the “mind-damaging” content and even the cyber attacks, What you can’t survive is IP theft. If a person who is doing some illegal stuff on the dark web uses your IP address to do those activities, then it will be you who will end up in jail. Yes, that’s true, FBI and many other such agencies are constantly tracking all the activities on the Dark web, and the only way in which they can track down a criminal is through the IP address.
It is very difficult to track down websites on the dark web as instead of “.com” or “.co”, they use “.onion” as a domain suffix. Dark web sites also use a scrambled naming structure that creates URLs that are often impossible to remember. For example, a popular commerce site called “Dream Market” goes by the address of “eajwlvm3z2lcca76.onion.” Even the currency which is used is “Bitcoin”, a cryptocurrency whose creator is unknown to the world!
Have you ever tried to visit any website on the Dark web? If yes then share your experience in the comments section.

“Dark net and Deep web are much more than I can mention. There lie thousand of secrets in it that are unexplored. If you want knowledge of it, please DM.”
