I am starting with my first blog to be a non-technical one.
What basically I want to convey is that why I started writing blogs and that why so many people have started writing blogs nowadays. A blog is a platform where a person(usually the owner of the blog) instigates a topic by writing something and then people can activately participate by sharing their views on that particular piece of information. All this communication results into formation of a community of people with similar interests and thinking.

I aim to form a community where people come forward to discuss, develop and share ideas related to use of technology to resolve various issues around the world.

You can write a blog of literally any topic. From cars to fashion, everything is worth to be written as a blog if have interest in that thing. Blogs should be written as if you are having a normal conversation with your friends. It should be ensured that decorum of the blog is maintained and use of hate language is avoided by both, the owner of the blog as well as the viewers of the blog.

There are many ways to create a blog. I have built my own website using HTML, CSS and javaScript. In short, I started from scratch. You can also build your own website if you have the basic idea of these technologies. Otherwise, there are more options where you can create a website in no time. One example of such an option is WordPress. Other than creating your own website, you can also write blogs on websites like blogger and medium.

Advantages of having a blog:
  • Great for CV/Resume! It shows the people who hire how much knowledge you have related to a particular field. Making a website of your own is cherry on top of the cake as it displays your technical skills too!
  • Social Outreach: You can turn out to be a famous personallity with good amount of contacts just by blogging. This can happen if you blog about something unique and trending with good content.
  • Improves communication skills: When you write something on regular basis, you develop a sense of self-confidence and that helps you to express yourself in a better way. It also improves your grammatical, writing, and communication skills.

That was all from my side for today. This was a short post just for introduction purposes. I will be back with more posts soon.
Cheers!

Quote of the blog:

“Blogging is to writing what extreme sports are to athletics: more free-form, more accident-prone, less formal, more alive. It is, in many ways, writing out loud.”
